SPECIALIST ONLINE SERVICES & SUPPORT

Support is available for you, whenever you feel ready.

Many survivors tell us they weren’t sure where to turn or didn’t realise specialist services were designed for people affected by sexual violence. Feelings of shame, guilt or fear can make it hard to ask for help, but you deserve support, and you’re not alone.

At Northamptonshire Rape Crisis, we offer confidential, trauma‑informed services for anyone aged 14+ affected by rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse, including women and girls, men and boys, LGBTQ+ survivors and young people.

You can access counselling, ISVA advocacy and Group Work, in person. But if you’re not ready for face‑to‑face support, or you want something you can use alongside our services, then there are online options you can turn to.

Online options:

Your Space (online wellbeing hub)

Your Space is a free online wellbeing platform designed specifically for people affected by sexual violence.

It offers tools and resources you can use in your own time, including:

  • grounding and calming exercises
  • ways to manage overwhelming thoughts or memories
  • information about trauma and recovery
  • creative activities and journaling prompts
  • practical ideas for building steadiness and self‑care

Create a free account at yourspace.org.uk and explore what feels helpful for you.

Many survivors use Your Space alongside counselling or ISVA support, while others use it as a gentle first step before reaching out.

If you’d like to explore our services, or you want to self‑refer or contact us directly for more information.
