Understanding the Possible Effects of Sexual Violence
Sexual violence affects everyone differently. People of all genders, ages, and backgrounds can experience a wide range of emotional, physical, and psychological responses - sometimes immediately, sometimes days or weeks later. These reactions are normal responses to trauma, not signs of weakness or failure.
