Every November, people across Northamptonshire come together to stand in solidarity with survivors, challenge harmful attitudes and demand change.
For many, Reclaim the Night is more than a march, it’s a moment of collective strength. It’s a space where survivors, supporters, families, friends and allies walk side by side, united in the belief that safety is a right, not a privilege.
Sexual violence is not inevitable. It is rooted in inequality, misogyny, victim‑blaming and systems that fail to protect survivors.
Reclaim the Night confronts these realities by:
Every person who joins the march helps amplify the message that safety is a shared responsibility and that our community refuses to accept violence as normal.
Reclaim the Night is open to everyone who believes in creating safer communities. You don’t need to register, just turn up, walk with us and add your voice.
We aim to make Reclaim the Night as accessible as possible. The route is chosen to be step‑free and suitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and prams.
Stewards are available throughout the march, and a quieter area is provided at the starting point for anyone who needs space before joining.
If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us. we'll do all what we can to support you.
Every person who attends helps:
Reclaim the Night is a reminder that change happens when we stand together; loudly, visibly and without apology.
