When students, staff and school communities choose to fundraise for Northamptonshire Rape Crisis, they’re helping us provide free, specialist counselling, ISVA advocacy and group programmes to anyone aged 14+ affected by rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse.
By getting involved, your school becomes part of a wider movement to create safer, more supportive communities, where young people feel believed, understood and able to reach out for help.
Young people are often at the heart of conversations about safety, consent and healthy relationships. When schools partner with NRC, they help:
Your fundraising directly supports young people aged 14+ who come to us for specialist help during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
Non‑uniform days, sponsored walks, bake sales, sports challenges, talent shows - student‑led fundraising is a brilliant way to build confidence, teamwork and leadership while supporting a vital local cause.
Assemblies, awareness weeks, charity days or creative projects can bring your whole school community together and spark important conversations about safety, respect and support.
Teachers and staff often lead by example.
Whether it’s a marathon, a quiz night or a workplace challenge, staff fundraising shows students the power of collective action.
Longer‑term partnerships allow schools to embed awareness, fundraising and wellbeing activities throughout the year.
We can work with you to create a partnership that fits your school’s values and timetable.
We’re committed to supporting young people not only through our services, but through education and prevention. NRC can visit your school to deliver age‑appropriate talks and workshops on:
Our sessions are trauma‑informed, inclusive and designed to help young people feel safe, respected and empowered. They can be delivered as assemblies, classroom sessions or part of PSHE/RSE programmes.
If your school would like to fundraise for NRC or book a talk or workshop, we’d love to hear from you.
School fundraising helps us:
Every school that supports NRC becomes part of the network that helps survivors feel safe, believed and less alone.
If your school would like to fundraise for NRC or book a talk or workshop, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, we can help create a safer, more informed Northamptonshire for young people and their communities.
